Infinite Anthologies featuring Vintage Science Fiction Items using Omeka S is now online

So, after discussing this with my supervisors it was decided that, for me to clearly represent the work I’m doing in my PhD thesis I need to get the InfiniteAnthologies.com site started with some basic information. I was advised that, being a digital humanities PhD component that Omeka S would be the ideal platform. It took about two weeks to get this basic vanilla site up and running but Infinite Anthologies is now available with some early information.

This is a soft launch as I don’t expect it to be complete until September 2026. There is a lot to update, a lot to add and a lot to write and many of the pages can’t be added until the PhD thesis is relatively complete. Even so, I have added the digital scholarly edition of the vintage science fiction story from the Australian newspaper The Tocsin to the site. You can see the item listing and all the science related links here: The World’s Last Wonder If you have guest research access you can login and download the digital scholarly edition and the general reader edition. Once everything is complete I’ll remove the guest access and make everything available for the general public. Curation is still very much in progress and most of the stories now listed as items are little more than templates with just title, author and a few notes.
